Hello, as soon as I complete my post graduation diploma in Rural Development and Management from national institute of Rural Development and panchayati raj, I got placed in society for elimination of Rural Poverty Telangana India which is also called as Serp Telangana.
After 10 days of training in Tsipard, Serp and a 2 days field immersion, on 21 August 2018 our director for Sustainable Agriculture Livelihoods alloted me Kowdipally mandal which is in Medak District in Telangana they appointment me as the manager for Farmer Producer Company, My role is to improve the income of the farmers by creating the business plans and the action plans.
The major task is to co-ordinate with the farmers and the company which buy and sell, As Nrlm and Srlms are promoting the organic or zero budget natural farming for the sustainability, Serp through Trigp encouraging the farmers for the organic crop through sustainable agriculture livelihood,
For this kind of activity the main thing that I had observed is the role of the Young Professional is
The young Professionals after completing his graduation he learns so much in PG in rural development creating business plans etc.,the rural employees although they have good knowledge on the farming they do not know how to create a business plan or an action plan or how to do value chain analysis, Focus group discussion or doing leap etc.
